Hypoxia is a custom-hardware VR survival-horror game under development by a team of students at UCSC. The game makes use of a custom-built dive helmet that houses a number of biometrics (including a heart rate monitor, airflow sensor, and microphone) that are used to influence gameplay in various ways.
Suit up and enter the research lab Dagon, which has been studying deep-sea plant life from the ocean floor. You've been tasked with solving the mystery behind the lab's recent radio silence, but soon find that things have gone horribly awry...and you are not alone. The creatures you are trapped with can sense your heartbeat and hear every move you make, so stay calm, and tread lightly.
